The actual wear story

I actually fell into this one by accident because I originally fell in love with Future Society Solar Canopy, and then I fell in love with the brand itself.

Their mission and purpose really resonate with me. Basically, you be you and express your own uniqueness through scent.

And then there was Haunted Rose.

Some days I’m a big fluffy marshmallow.

Some days I’m a dark, moody rose.

This one starts spicy, with the black pepper and saffron giving the rose some heat and edge.

Then it settles into this deeper, moodier rose that feels warm, shadowy, and grounded.

And right at the end, the spice softens and the whole thing lifts just a little.

What’s left is a moody rose with a sprinkle of powder.

Not a powdery rose.

That’s different.

The rose still stays dark and moody. The powder just softens the edges.

Honestly, the name got me first.

The fragrance made me stay.

Why it moves

black pepper + saffron = spicy warmth

rose + sandalwood = moody floral

ambroxan + rose = lifted finish
